Reconfirmed leak on subcool block. Recovered what little refrigerant was left. Performed leak repair and pressure tested to confirm leak repaired. Evacuated system. Added refrigerant to achieve design pressure and temperature levels. Checked unit operation and system running within design specifications.
Performed maintenance, found no problems. Flushed condensate line and pan, flowing free and clear. Checked all amp draws and pressures, all are good and within factory specs. System operation is normal for both heating and cooling. System is running and cooling at this time.
System number one installed January 2023, carrier 5 ton found indications at outdoor unit gas line antitheft cap laying in dirt fitting had tarnish been off for a long time indications of oil at black duct tape close to Gasport indicate gummy sticky indicate leak in area, electronic leak test reveal sub cooling box in bottom of condenser leaky joints, visible need to pump refrigerant out of condenser re-solder all joints on sub cooling EAC box spray with anti-corrosion paint added small amount of refrigerant to get cooling again. Will recharge when return to repair leak tomorrow.Added 4 pounds r410a for temp cooling
12YR PARTS 12YR LABOR WARRANTY THROUGH EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER ALL INSPECTIONS AND PERMITS INCLUDED CONNECT TO EXISTING DUCTWORK, LINESET, DRAIN, HIGH AND LOW VOLTAGE WIRING. NEW DISCONNECT AT CONDENSER.
Found system running and cooling fine. Customer was concerned filter was not working due to home having dust on counters and furniture. Explained to customer that unit does not eliminate all dust in home, only filters air that passes through unit. Customer also stated gurgling noise was coming from drain area one day for a short period of time. Asked customer if maintenance cleans condensate lines from outside and she stated they do occasionally. Told customer that noise was probably line being cleared with a shop vac and noise stopped once unit filled trap back with water. Also checked heat per customer request, cooling and heating operation is normal and system is running normal at this time.
Found water leaking from air handler due to clogged drain line. Performed condensate cleaning and removed drain line from dirt. Drain is free and clearly draining. Also found evaporator coil very dirty. I wrote estimate to remove and clean evaporator coil as well as 2 lbs of refrigerant for the repair. Also recommend adding a U.V. Light to keep this issue from happening in the future as long as the filter is changed regularly.
Preformed maintenance Inspection, customer signed up for Snowbird Maintenance Plan. Checked through entire system including temperatures, pressures, amp draws, super heat and sub cool. Completely cleaned and flushed line set. System is operating within factory specifications. Cooling and draining properly at this time.
Found system maintaining 76 upon arrival. Checked system operation and found no issues. Tenant believes it’s a intermittent issue with the thermostat. Checked out thermostat and found the setting were correct and it was cycling on system. Thermostat is programmable and could be reverting back to a warmer temperature but can’t be certain. I wrote an estimate to replace it with a basic Honeywell thermostat. Please schedule first check up 5 months from now.
Found low side of system iced up. Found system low on refrigerant 410a. Found leak at suction line service port Schrader. Replaced Schrader upon approval. Added 5 pounds r410a. Checked operation. Pressures, temperatures, and amp draws. All within factory specifications. System is working and draining properly. Advised from Zion to waive dispatch charge and waive new Schrader core repair.
Drain was backed up, customer clean it out himself. I confirmed It was draining before I left.

Preformed check up. Checked voltage and amp draws across the system. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Cleaned and flushed drain line with shop vac and water. Found the primarily switch to be bad. Replaced with new ss2 saftey switch. Talked with customer about maintenance plans, customer agreed to premium plus. System operating to manufacturer specifications.
Met with tech on site to confirm correct wiring, wiring is correct. System operation is normal and cooling upon arrival.
Found bad capacitor not letting fan motor run outside and unit would overheat and shut down on high pressure. Replaced capacitor and tested. Unit running well, however it is slightly low on refrigerant and I can’t guarantee it will stay running properly. Client has decided to replace the unit due to possibility of repair needed to keep bandaid repairing this unit. Dispatch fee and capacitor replacement
Performed check up on two systems. Checked voltage an amp draws across the systems. Cleaned and flush drain lines with shut back in water. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures across the systems. Systems operating to manufacture specifications.
Topped off unit with 1lb refrigerant under the membership plan. Tested unit and is operating properly. Recommend attic blown insulation for attic as it has almost none.
Found the disconnect on the roof turned off. Check system operation ,everything working fine after service unit is cooling and draining we have a video of the drain out front .Refrigerant levels are within specs unit is cooling desired temperature 18 to 20° temperature split delta

Found system not cooling. Found bad 70/7.5 mfd condenser capacitor. Found pitting and noisy 1 pole contactor. Found extremely dirty blower assembly. Performed all work upon approval. Recommended whole house purification. Installed upon approval. Flushed drain assembly. Checked pressures, temperatures, and amp draws. All within factory specifications. System is working and draining properly. Customer purchased premium plus plan per Collin on 9-19-2023.
Call Back on indoor txv that was done with compressor, found loose at air handler coil connection causing large leak tightened n test recharged unit did note. Micro leaks at our door. Header pipe will give customer quote on repairing those. recharge with 8 pounds of our 410 a.

Performed duct repair. System is not longer leaking air from where duct work wasn’t sealed.
Found water to be flowing into emergency switch. Attached vacuum drain next to condenser and found this drain to be for the hot water heater. Attached vacuum to drain at air handler and found drain to be draining into waste water line for washing machine. Found buildup to be clogging pvc in pipes before penetration to the wall. Removed all accessible pipe as nothing was glued together, cleaned with garden hose and reinstalled with glue. System is now cooling and draining, homeowner aware system is due for replacement.
System leaking air at supply plenum both above and below ceiling as well as where ducts are attached. Need to return to seal , tape and Mastic. Glued and taped today. Need smaller tech to reach sides of unit to seal as it is tight in closet.
