I was very pleased with the trouble shooting and repair work Marcus did on my "dead" A/C system yesterday. He was very methodical in finding the problem, making the repair, and then performing an overall system performance check to verify Freon charge was correct and that the compressor was performing satisfactorily. I appreciated his willingness to explain what he was doing as he went through the process of disassembly, repair, assembly, and then testing.
I have been a customer of Harrington for 13 years and every contact has been thorough, professional and all employees have exhibited knowledge, skill, patience and conscientious attention to detail. My last contact was Tanner and Justin who are upholding the company reputation admirably.

Marcus Stanfield is the HVAC expert that came to my home today for my annual maintenance and cleaning. He was super friendly and very knowledgable. He did a wonderful job cleaning up my HVAC system and changing the internal filters. I will def ask for him again. Gave us some recommendations that we will be calling back to schedule. Harrington put in our HVAC and installed all new vents 14years ago and we will not let any other company touch our system. Also love the new software update that sends texts/emails with info and a picture on the person coming to my home.

Harrington installed new duct work and boots, Barry gave me my initial plan, which i felt was spot on. I had called two other companies. I liked his plan. The installers Malak & Max were very professional, my ducts were old and not properly installed in my attic as well, they fixed this to make easier access without having to step over a duct. They were never hurried and answered any questions i had throughout the day. They were very detailed. Very happy!

I called Harrington to set up an appointment to service my AC Unit. They booked me 2.5 weeks out - which is fine. 2 days prior to my appointment they called to move me out another day - OK that's fine.... During the time that they are supposed to arrive they called and told me they needed to push me to April.... APRIL??? After I have been sitting home all day waiting for them. TERRIBLE! UNRELIABLE!!! We always try and support small businesses... Unless you like to be jerked around - I suggest you look elsewhere! UPDATE: Adding the 2 phone calls received by this company - first trying to move me to April then agreeing to come 2 days later and the next call cancelling an hour into the 2-4 pm time frame they quoted.
We’ve been using Harrington for the last 10 plus years. The customer service and value by far is top notch. We recently had a new system installed and we knew the market has really changed with pricing so we got other quotes. Needless to say Harrington did not disappoint. Cannot say enough good things about this company and their people.
Harrington is a very unprofessional, unorganized company. They lied to me and taken money from me. I wouldn’t recommend this company. This is a true 1 star company.
Justin is amazing and the best at what he does. Could not have been a more professional visit. He even was able to get our door darting dog back in the house when I accidentally let her escape when opening the front door. Justin was able to corral her back in through the front door and now they are best friends.

James came out as our unit is about 10 years old and starting to have some issues. He was very helpful in presenting us with a number of options and took time to check the ductwork and show us pictures he took while in the attic where dust might be entering our system. I have been using Harrington for the last 7 or so years and have been extremely pleased with their service and responsiveness.

When city came to inspect my unit, the guy asked who installed it. I said Harrington. He chuckled and said probably dont even need to inspect, they have a great reputation. Sitting here watching my neighbors company(NOT Harrington) come back several times because of failed inspections. Thankful I choose Harrington.
Came home from a trip to find the house at 87F. Neighbor recommended Harrington. Gave their answering service a call. They returned my call the next morning and had tech Justin out by 1:00 the next day which worked great for us. He found a failed contactor. Did some more diagnostics as the unit was not achieving the numbers he expected. I agreed to ahve him do a full checkout including leak detection. The unit was down a bit of Freon. He found a very, very minor leak and, instead of recommending some big repair or replacement he suggested we watch the unit over the next few months. I appreciated the honest approach to the problem.

Since 2018 Harrington has installed new A/C systems in our home and 3 rental houses, has upgraded duct work, and has serviced both equipment they installed and equipment of various brands installed by others. They have always been very responsive, helpful, and fair - never pushy. All the techs are very good, and Jeff is outstanding.
Rude Customer service.This is one of the local company’s I had called because I saw some recommendations on the NextDoor App. On Tuesday I called to set up an appointment for an estimate. They couldn't come out until late Friday afternoon, which is when I set the appointment. From Tuesday to Thursday I already had a handful of quotes and needed to do a little more research on HVAC replacements and the companies that gave me quotes. I’m very thorough and do a lot of research before buying. Early Friday morning I called Harrington back to cancel my 4pm appt. and she asked if I wanted to reschedule, I politely said- not at this time (knowing I have enough fair quotes to narrow down before purchasing) - She asked again, ‘you don’t want to reschedule?’ - again, I said, not at this time—- **SLAM**—— she hung up on me!
I received a phone call from Harrington about the review that was done and spoke with Judy the company explained why the service wasn't done at the time the technicians came out that it was a big job that couldn't be done at that time I wished that the technicians would have explained that In getting an estimate on a new air conditioner I had good experience with the company before.
They actually installed my unit 4 years ago, but I had to call them for a maintenance issue, which occurred over Labor Day weekend. Justin called me back and walked me through how to get the a/c running until they can come out during non emergency hours. I spoke with Karen who is delightful and Gideon arrived today to take care of the issue, which was no fault of theirs (I’m just an irresponsible homeowner 😬) Everyone I encountered with this company from 4 years ago, and even still today, are extremely kind and professional.

When it was time to replace my old AC I obtained 5 quotes from different vendors. Unlike others when Barry from Harrington met with me he did a thorough inspection and gave me a detailed report. Also, based on my research on the recommended AC I went with them.The installation crew were very professional and completed the work on a timely manner. Harrington also followed up with me for release of the permit and inspection after the install.Overall I have been very happy in dealing with them, they're pros at what they do.
Do not normally leave reviews but having used Harrington AC multiple times both for my home and our business, they certainly deserve a shout-out. They are very responsive, very helpful, very courteous, and always go above and beyond to take care of us. Not many companies care for clients the way Harrington AC does.

We had Harrington install our first unit 21 years ago. They have done all the annual checks on the unit. We just had a new unit installed by them. They came out quickly to put a new motor in the air handler to keep us cool temporarily. Two weeks later, new unit was installed. Great job! They are professional and treat customers well. Recently, I contracted with Harrington Air Conditioning to install a new condenser/compressor unit and air handler in my home. Suffice it to say, this is a very expensive project, and a significant factor influencing the value of my home. So, I was quite nervous about moving forward with this project.First, every time I had contact with Harrington - from my initial phone call to the final inspection - the employees were incredibly polite and courteous. To make an accurate assessment of the type of system needed and its specifications, Barry Creasy conducted a time-consuming, thorough inspection of my home. Then, he provided me with a detailed quote, listing three different options. Throughout the process, Barry was responsive and patient, neither pushy nor aggressive, helping earn my trust.The two workers who did the actual installation were extremely polite and professional, addressing all of my questions, concerns and requests. These are people you can trust in your home. They worked very hard and I appreciate them very much.In addition to the installation, there was a long-standing, vexing air-flow issue that needed to be corrected (as air was not properly flowing into my large living room and master bedroom, located towards the back of the home). Harrington addressed this issue, at no additional cost, which included moving two A/C ducts and vents that were incorrectly positioned during initial installation by a previous company. Harrington even patched a large hole in the upper-wall of my garage (per the attached picture), which I did not expect, but certainly appreciate.Perhaps most important, Harrington did not require any payment, not even a modest down-payment, until the work was completed and I was completely satisfied. This is highly unusual, especially for such a pricey project.To close, during the 25 years I have owned my home in N.E. St. Petersburg, numerous companies have worked on my A/C unit. Be assured, Harrington is the absolute best. From Harrington, you can expect top quality work, a high level of integrity and responsiveness from skilled professionals, no pressure and competitive pricing. I went for the $79.95 seasonal tune up/inspection and....they found nothing wrong! I think this speaks well for their integrity. Most companies that do “inspections” intentionally find something wrong. Well done Harrington.
I'd leave 0 stars if possible! This company was referred by a friend who is currently building a new home on the north side of St.Pete. We're getting ready to start a remodel and addition and need a new system for the increase in size.The man sent out spent all of a minute with me and said that they don't do new construction. I told him I was referred by a friend doing new construction. He shrugged and that was it.My friend called them to see what the story was. They said they don't work with contractors they don't know ( he never asked about our contractor) and then she said it wasn't because I was a female or that I live on the south side! Are you kidding me! Obviously this company has issues. Stay clear!!
