Harrington air-conditioning came out this morning to do scheduled maintenance on my two year old air conditioning system. The technician,Trace, Did an excellent job explaining what was being done and showing me detailed pictures of everything. He was very thorough. Recently, our central a/c stopped cooling. We called a local HVAC service provider. The tech seemed experienced but within 10 min we were told the condenser was shot, need to replace it as well the air handler. Hmmm something didn’t seem right with such a quick & definitive diagnosis.A good friend recommended Harrington Air Conditioning, their tech Scott R. arrived at 5:50 PM. After doing several diagnostics and reviewing the pressures, he provided a much more comprehensive diagnosis. The coolant was leaking at a slow rate, but otherwise the system checked out. Scott added refrigerant and within a few minutes cold air was coming from our air vents. Hallelujah we could sleep in our house in comfortable temperatures (73).We learned the difference between an A/C sales person and a genuine HVAC service technician! What a huge difference! We are a huge fan of Harrington A/C & especially their technician Scott! Thank you!!!

LJ, the technician, was super, both on the emergency call on Sunday and the Tuesday a week later when my part came in. We experienced a torrential storm just as he was getting started on changing our the fan motor. I thought he would leave, but no way! LJ knew I had suffered with a window unit and heat for a week, and had company coming over tonight. He powered through the rain and three hours later had cleaned my unit, installed the new motor and installed a surge protector, too.I was absolutely amazed at his dedication to the job at hand. Technician Scott arrived earlier than scheduled and thus saved us the additional, after-hours service charge. Scott was very knowledgeable, polite, respectful of our property and professional. He sufficiently answered all of my questions and explained, in detail, exactly what the problem was and what he did to correct/repair it. After the repair was completed, he checked the overall condition of our A/C unit and offered suggestions/recommendations. All of this was completed in 1-hour and we are now enjoying our air conditioning once again. The final bill was very reasonable, although I was willing to pay a ‘king’s ransom’ to stop sweating and get a cool-night’s sleep.This is our second, great experience with Harrington and highly recommend their business.
